Historic Home Inspections

Whether purchasing a commercial or residential historic property, Bill Kibbel has the experience needed to evaluate their structure and systems. Unlike newer buildings, additional knowledge is necessary to understand the original structure and offer insight into the changes that have occurred over centuries.
Since 1986, he has inspected well over 10,000 buildings between 100 and 350 years old. He has served on the Board of Directors of 2 public historic buildings and has been a consultant to historic sites in several states. Bill has also been contracted on several occasions by municipal governments to advise building departments, and architecture review boards on historic building issues.

Bill has written articles and columns for national and regional publications about home inspections and building restoration and is a frequent speaker at educational seminars for building inspectors and preservation professionals.
